26/11/2013 - First monitoring visit of the European Commission

On Friday November 22, 2013 the first monitoring visit the LIFE project Xero -grazing has occurred. The visit was carried out in Foresto, the administrative headquarters of the Natural Park Orsiera - Rocciavré and natural reserves of Orridi di Chianocco and Foresto by Stefania dall'Olio (member of Astral – Timesis, that is the monitoring external group which is used by the European commission to check the progress of LIFE projects).
At the meeting were different active persons of all the partners. The meeting was held from 9:00 to 17:00. In the first part of the meeting the monitor and participants made a presentation and a discussion of the technical aspects of the project , describing the progress of the actions already undertaken; , while in the second part of the meeting the financial and administrative aspects of the project were discussed. The monitor did a verification of the expenses already incurred by the project and the system of financial reporting.
